Ben & Jess are in the Press - Fluid Magazine

I was checking my Etsy store, Ben & Jess  this morning and couldn't work out why all of a sudden alot of people had paid me a visit.  All became clear when I checked my email.    The pink Bubushka Party Favor Bags that I sell in my little handmade store have been featured in Fluid Magazine (see item 7).

I actually burst into tears.  My son asked me if something was wrong.  No no nothing wrong I'm just so happy!   It takes a lot of hard work, time and sacrifices to run Ben & Jess and seeing my party favor bags in print made it all worth while and has given me the confidence to carry on with making and selling (I was actually thinking of giving up).

So thank you to Fluid Magazine for choosing me and giving me the courage to carry on with Ben & Jess.

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day ~ sending out some love to Mothers around the world today (I know I'm a day early but I won't be online tomorrow as it's a family day) ~ I feel that mothers have the hardest but most rewarding job in the world.

My mum lives in the USA and I'm in Australia so I won't be able to see her but I will definately be calling my mum.   I have sent her a lovely card that I purchased from one of my favorite stores on Etsy ~ Seasonal Delights

My husband is away on business at the moment so my sweet 9 year old son and I are going to spend the day with my best friend Ms T and her devine daughter Miss D.       It's so nice to share the day with the ones you love as the day isn't about the gift it's about spending time together.

10 Kilos of Chocolate - What on earth an I going to do with this!

This was delivered to my door today.......

10 Kilos (22 pounds) of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate!   There are 400 serves of chocolate in this baby.

Late last year I entered a Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate competition.   First prize was a trip for 4 to the UK and second was a 10 Kilo block of chocolate.   Guess what I won - hmmmm the chocolate.

Here I am with the bar in question. Just so you can get an idea of how large it is.  I'm 6ft (1.8 mtrs) tall and the bar is up to my waist (as long as its not on my waist I think I'll be okay).

What on earth am I going to do with all of this chocolate?   I think my family and friends are going to have a very very chocolaty Easter and the Easter Bunny is out of a job in my neck of the woods this year.
